Linlithgow Thistle hosted their third annual Sportsman’s Dinner on Saturday, 27th October. The line up of Chick Young, Scott Glynn and John Gahagan, along with musician Feargus Hetherington, delivered the most entertaining Dinner to date.
The Grand Raffle had fabulous prizes of Ricky Hatton fight tickets, first class rail travel and overnight accommodation in a luxury hotel; 32″ HD 3D TV; Dinner for two at the award winning Livingston’s Restaurant; and Michal McIntyre tickets.
The Auction included signed memorabilia from Lionel Messi, Pele, Eric Cantona, Paul Gascoigne, Sir Geoff Hurst, Manchester City, Northern Ireland, Dundee United, and Chick Young himself. Golfing opportunities were made available for The Duke’s Course, St Andrews and West Lothian Golf Club.
Linlithgow Thistle pledged the auction bid for the first lot to be donated to the Scottish Poppy Appeal in recognition of the excellent work that they and our troops undertake.
The club wishes to thank all our sponsors and each and every one of the guests who came along to Bo’ness Town Hall to support our quest in amateur football. It is greatly appreciated.
