Linlithgow Thistle suffered their second defeat in as many days at home to nearest rivals, Bathgate Thistle.
Despite starting the brightest and claiming the first goal, through Callum Heeps, it was the visitors that went on to dominate the first half, netting three goals before the break.
However, the hosts regrouped at the interval and claimed the possession in the second half. Heeps again scored after fine interplay with Orr. A fair number of chances then went abegging with the Bathgate keeper in fine form, along with the bar maintaining the score line until the final whistle.
It was an encouraging performance given the number of key absentees and players out of position. It will give the management a lift ahead of Saturday’s tricky encounter against Barca Milton.
